WETWINE Proyect
WETWINE Project: “Transnational cooperation project to promote the conservation and protection of the natural heritage of the wine sector in the SUDOE area” arises from the need to manage the waste generated by the wine industry during the winemaking process and to control its impact on the environment, as well as promoting the rational use of fertilizers based on the development of an innovative pilot experience using both treatments anaerobic digestion and sludge and water constructed wetlands.
From the results, WETWINE Project will provide solutions to the waste generation problems of the wine industry through the treatment of wastewater and the reuse-recycling of the solid fraction as a fertilizer, reducing the impact of winemaking by 90% over the natural heritage.
